In the most recent Labor Market Study conducted by Iowa Workforce Development, out of the entire labor force of 336,373, a total of 125,125 are likely to change or accept employment. Other facts from the Laborshed Study indicate employees are willing to travel an average of 25 miles one way, the average wage threshold is $10/hr. and 66.1% of the workforce has some education beyond high school.
