Doing Business Here

The Quad Cities region welcomes new business investments through a combination of pro-business policies and incentives, competitive costs of doing business, and coordinated regional economic development efforts.

The business environment is demonstrated by ongoing investment in the region by public and private organizations.

  • Public and private organizations completed $483 million in significant economic development projects between July 1, 2008 and June 30, 2009.
  • During the same time period, additional economic development projects representing $1,638 million in investment were underway.
